# Hippocrates — agent guidance

Hippocrates is a pharmacy e-commerce website in Moldova. It supports Romanian (`ro`) and Russian (`ru`) pages and pharmacy pickup.

The site is the source of truth for current price, stock, pharmacy availability, payment eligibility, and order confirmation.

## Shopping

- Search products through the public website or the product API.
- Product pages use `/{lang}/catalog/{category}/{product}`.
- To prepare a buyer's cart, use `/{lang}/agent/checkout?items=SKU:quantity`.
- Multiple items use commas, for example `items=123:1,456:2`.
- An optional `pharm=ID` parameter can continue to a selected pharmacy.
- Add `format=json` or send `Accept: application/json` to receive a JSON handoff response.
- The buyer must select a pharmacy and complete checkout on hippocrates.md.
- Do not claim that an order has been placed until the site confirms it.

## API

- `GET /api/products/search?q=term&lang=ro&token=TOKEN`
- `GET /api/products/SKU?lang=ro&token=TOKEN`

API results include a public product URL and a checkout handoff URL.

API requests require an API token. Do not expose the token to buyers or publish it in prompts, pages, feeds, or this file. Search is limited to visible products and product lookup returns only visible products.

## Fulfillment and payment

Orders are fulfilled through pharmacy pickup. Available payment and medicine restrictions are determined by the existing Hippocrates checkout and must not be bypassed.

Agents must not promise delivery, reserve stock, payment approval, prescription acceptance, or a completed order. Regulated and prescription products may require additional checks or may be unavailable for agent-assisted purchase.
